Boiler Hire

A mobile packaged boiler unit was the perfect solution for a regional third level college when they needed temporary heat in part of their campus for the final term of the year. Aska Sykes provided the 250kW unit complete with long life fuel tank and all necessary fittings. While the college only required the heating circuit, all our boilers are dual circuit and can provide hot water if required. The boilers come complete with circulating pumps and heat exchange units to allow for easy connection to the customer circuits, ensuring that connection and commissioning is straightforward and quick.

Damping down the Dump

When called to provide a high volume water source to assist the fire service with its efforts to control a hazardous situation, Aska Sykes had a generator, 8” submersible pump, long life fuel tank and 250m of 8” hose on site within 2 hours of receiving the call. Equipment was mobilised from our Dublin and Carlow depots with 3 truck loads delivered to site without delay. Aska Sykes is the only Nationwide Pump Supplier with 6 depots around the country ensuring that it is closer to site than any of our competitors. Submersible Pumps for the Irish Naval Service

Aska Sykes recently won the contract to supply 16 electric submersible pumps to the Irish Naval Service. Critical to the success of the tender was our ability to quote, supply and commission the pumps within the 4 week deadline. The pumps, complete with stainless steel impellers, zinc anodes and extensive cabling were part of the comprehensive stock of submersible pumps that Aska Sykes holds at its Carlow depot.
